The Challenge
VanChurch is located just a few blocks from a mega‑church with a similar name and needed clear differentiation in its branding, language, and messaging. People would occasionally stop in, thinking it was the other church, only to discover a hidden gem where they could genuinely connect. Yet their online presence was not aligned with who they had become as a congregation of God’s people.
The Process
Our messaging consultant led an in‑person strategy session for the VanChurch leadership group – split over two days, allowing for broad group input, overnight reflection, and refined alignment around key elements ranging from color palette to deeper theological commitments. The process resulted in a cohesive, proposed site layout and visual direction centered on a customized logo designed to carry the organization into the future.
The Solution
Through an iterative process of revisions and feedback, the BizMarketing team—combining a design specialist, coder, and marketing messaging support—helped VanChurch launch a customized WordPress site with a refreshed look, interactive features, and online messaging that aligns with their true identity.

The logo and overall visual identity continue to connect effectively with people in their community and support the church’s forward momentum.
