Title: Thankful – A Conversation With Our Team

Guests: Emily Caddell, Marcel Colon, Ann McKinney

Peter: For the past few weeks on the podcast, we’ve been talking about our favorites. This week, we’re gonna take a little bit of a tangent from that in honor of the Thanksgiving holiday coming up and talk about what we’re thankful for. So we’ve got part of the team here. We’ve got Emily, Anne, and Marcel. And I’ll kick it off by saying I’m really thankful for my family and my extended family.

And I’m thankful that I got to spend a couple of weeks in Italy recently with my adult son and daughter, reading Grace, and my wife. We had a great time together. I’m just really thankful for that time. I’m also thankful for this team that works for me, for Anne, Emily, Marcel, Tim, Goldman, Hannah, Charlie, Paul. And I just really appreciate their dedication to the work and dedication to the clients that each of them have and their integrity.

And they’re just fun to work with. I really appreciate them for what they do. And lastly, I’m very thankful for our clients that we work with and their continuing support of us and their trust of us with their marketing. So I really appreciate them. Emily, how about you?

Emily: I’m very thankful for my beautiful family. I have a wonderful husband, my now one year old daughter, and my five year old son, and thankful for my extended family as well. I’m very close to my parents and my in laws and siblings, and I’m just really appreciative of all of them. And secondly, I’m very appreciative for our kind of extended family out here in Boston, as I would call them. They’re all of our friends and community that we have around us.

We don’t live near any family, so I’m very appreciative for the relationships that we have out here that we’re lucky to have. And third, I’m just very thankful for the upcoming holiday season. Getting to spend it with little kids is a ton of fun. So I’m really excited for all of that.

Peter: Great. How about you, Anne?

Ann: I am very thankful for my family too. We’ve got family here in Western Washington and Eastern Washington, and it’s just wonderful to have everybody somewhat close by. Also thankful for good health and it never can pass that up. And then third, I’m just really thankful for living in Edmonds. It’s probably my favorite town I’ve ever been in and I love just the atmosphere and the views and the people here.

Peter: And what about you, Marcel?

Marcel: Well, yes. I am very thankful for my wife and kids and all the great moments and experiences we create together. I’m also very thankful that I can do what I love, for work, and I can work for this great company and team members as well. Thank you.

Peter: Well, there are just a few things we’re thankful for. One thing I forgot to mention is I’m thankful for all the listeners out there of this podcast. This is gonna be a short podcast, so hopefully, we’ll have even more listeners. But I’m really thankful for the feedback we get and the support we get. The podcast has been going since 2018, and we are approaching our one hundredth episode, believe it or not.

So I’m just thankful that this thing has kept on going. So thanks, everybody. Thanks for listening to this episode of Biz and Life Done Well with Peter Wilson.
